Product Description
Steps for inspecting the pitch of bucket teeth in construction machinery
The following are the standardized operation steps for inspecting the pitch of bucket teeth in construction machinery, covering three commonly used methods:
1. Contact measuring tool testing method (applicable to on-site rapid testing)
Cleaning location
Thoroughly clean the impurities on the meshing surface of the bucket teeth and stably fix the bucket teeth to be tested on the detection platform.
The reference tooth is selected as
Select a single reference tooth and use a vernier caliper to measure the distance between the tooth profiles on both sides as the initial nominal value.
Measure tooth by tooth
Measure the adjacent tooth pitches in sequence along the tooth width direction and record the deviation from the nominal value (note to avoid areas with severe wear).
2. Lead compression method (with emphasis on post-service wear inspection)
Lead wire layout
Cut the lead wire with a diameter slightly smaller than the expected gap (recommended: φ0.5-1mm) and place it parallel in the meshing area of the non-working tooth surface of the bucket teeth.
Simulated meshing
Slowly rotate the gear seat mechanism to compress the lead wire. Rotate continuously for ≥1 turn to ensure full pressing.
Thickness measurement
Remove the deformed lead wire and measure the thickness at the thinnest point with a micrometer, which is the actual increment of the tooth pitch (take the average of three points).
Iii. Instrument Testing Method (High-precision laboratory solution)
Universal tooth measuring instrument operation
Install the bucket teeth on the mandrel and adjust the distance between the two measuring heads to be slightly less than the nominal tooth pitch
The tooth profile is made to closely adhere to the probe by the traction of the heavy hammer, and the relative deviation value is read tooth by tooth.
Coordinate measuring machine scheme
Collect 15 to 20 discrete points (with encryption near the indexing circle) in the working section of the tooth profile
Fit the actual tooth profile curve using cubic spline functions and calculate the difference from the theoretical tooth pitch.
Iv. Data Processing and Judgment
Parameter calculation method standard basis
Single pitch deviation Δf youdaoplaceholder0 = measured value - nominal value GB/T 25628-2023
Cumulative pitch error F <s:1> = max(ΣΔf <e:1>)-min(ΣΔf <e:1>)
Wear unevenness δ=(maximum value - minimum value)/ average value ×100%
Key points of execution : New bucket teeth shall be determined in accordance with the allowable tolerance of GB/T 25628; The remaining service life of old teeth should be evaluated in combination with the unevenness of wear.
