     Evolution of fuel filter technology

     From mechanical to composite filters with water separation function, the filtration accuracy has been improved from 30μm to 3μm. Modern electronically controlled common rail systems require filters to have: ① A three-stage filtration structure (coarse filtration + fine filtration + water collection layer); ② High-pressure resistance performance (burst pressure ≥1MPa); ③ Static dissipation function (resistance value < 1GΩ). Comparative tests show that filters that meet the ISO19438 standard can extend the lifespan of fuel injectors to 8,000 hours.
